Slopeland Public School provides a plethora of co curricular activities. It form an integral part of school curriculum in the calendar year. Be it, from engaging in Clubs to participating in Inter House Competitions, students have always taken initiatives to join such activities under the guidance of their respective teachers and trainers.
Co-curricular activities facilitate in the development of various domains of mind and personality such as intellectual development, emotional development, social development, moral development and aesthetic development. Creativity, Enthusiasm, and Energetic, Positive thinking are some of the facets of personality development and the outcomes of Co curricular activities.
Here at Slopeland Public School, beside the regular facilities of games & sports and other co curriculum activities, we provide unique courses of action to our students as part of co curricular activities in the form of Clubs, viz. Archery, Dance, Thang Ta, Gym (Fitness), Music, Horse Riding, Football & Bhartiyam .It is life based teaching and learning to hone their skills and pursue their excellence under the guidance of qualified trainers with state-of-the-art facilities. The result has been excellent. As a result of this, we take pride to the fact that our students have represented India on international stages as our own product in the field of games & sports and Art & Culture; and bought laurel for the nation by winning medals and reorganisations. Chingakham Jayaluxmi & Thoudam Suraj of Class XII has won Gold and Silver respectively at International Powerlifting Championship held in Oman (Arab country) in 2015 representing India. Rebina (Under 17) and Bruce Lee (Under 19) won Gold and Bronze respectively at National Thang-Ta Championship held in Delhi.
In addition to the above mentions discipline of games & sports and art & culture, regular inter house competition of quiz, debate, writing, painting; exhibitions, field visits, etc are held regularly in the school campus. Students with meritorious performance in co-curricular activities are regularly awarded with prizes and certificates by the school.
