Slopeland Public School is Co-educational Senior Secondary residential School affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi which is the largest educational board in the country, affiliation No. 1230022.
It was founded on 2nd February 2002, with the vision “Education for All”, esp. to help the underprivileged students to get opportunity to get the best education that they can get anywhere in the world. It is a private institution run by Slopeland Public School Trust consisting of eminent educationists and philanthropists, which is running other educational and social institutions as well.
Slopeland Public School is the largest educational campus in Manipur, and one of the largest in North East India, situated at a very pollution free eco friendly place, 35 Kms far from maddening and hectic crowd of Imphal City.
Historically too, it lies along the foothill of kheba ching where Anglo-Manipuri war were fought and now presently known as Khongjom War Memorial hill which is one of the famous heritage site of the state. Such location makes the Slopeland Plublic School the best location to groom the career of this generation of young people, with the hope of that they are going to make this world a better place.

Slopeland Public School is a co-educational boarding school, with approximately 1200 students on its rolls out of which around 900 students reside in the School hostels. The diverse student body from across the North East region and across the country and around the world is a unique feature of our School. Nearly 70% of the entire faculty resides on the campus in accommodation provided by the School. The school caters Day School up to the standard of Class VIII neighbour students only.
The school considers education to be a life process which should have a strong foundation. The goal of the school is to inculcate in the students a love for learning and a desire to excel at every level. Here, the teaching-learning process is highly activity oriented where the involvement of students is prioritized and they take proactive role in the process itself. Every possible resource is dedicated to developing in its students the values and skills that form the foundation of a life of accomplishment, leadership and fulfillment.
The School promotes intellectual curiosity and disciplined study habits through a challenging curriculum and also promotes active involvement in the life of the campus through a rich co-curricular programme. In all they do the students are both challenged and closely supported by an outstanding faculty and staff.
As part of Co-Scholastic area- life based application teaching and learning system , school is catering special unique courses of action for the students , to hone their skills and pursue their excellence , by engaging in different Clubs in the form of Games & Sports like Gym (Fitness Centre ) , Basketball , Football , Volleyball , Art & Culture like Thang – Ta , Dance , Music, Bharttiyam and Science & Technology under the well qualified trainers. It follows up with excellent result from the students in such a short period of time. From the above-mentioned Clubs, our students have represented our country, on international stages as our own product in the field of Games & Sports and Art & Culture; and bought laurel for the nation by winning medals and endless recognitions and praises.
The school is firmly committed to the underrepresented and less privileged segments of the population, such as gifted applicants whose parents could not attend the school and children with high potentials facing difficult financial circumstances. School is adopting two local neighbouring villages by providing free education to 200 students of such category.
It has also open B.Ed College (Bachelor of Education), Slopeland College of Teachers Education, which has already been recognized by NCTE (National Council of Teachers Education) and affiliated to Manipur University, for training teachers, inside the campus from 2014 under Slopeland Public School Trust. It is the only B.Ed College in whole of Chandel and Thoubal district of Manipur. It has also opened BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) & BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) from 2017.
